Hello Hello,

My name is Darren Lê. I was born in Vietnam, and I came to this country on the misty fall night of October 24, 1990. I came here with a dream of becoming a doctor. Growing up in an Asian country, that was pretty much what was expected of me.

However, when I was 16 years old, my aunt opened her own hair salon. On weekends, I would help her out in many roles a like receptionist, a shampoo apprentice and a cleaning mate to ensure things are running smoothly.

Fast forward a few years – I graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Kinesiology, but it just didn’t feel like the right path for me to pursue. I asked myself, why not Cosmetology? Since the early age of 12 years, I loved working with hair, my grandfather used to say to me: “You would be so rich if you charged ten dollars a hair cut in America..”. And so, I began working my ways up in the hair industry, which has been the best decision of my life as I love it to this day.

Through providing hair services for the past 20 plus years, I learned to refine shape to suit each individual face shape. Dry cutting allows me to do just that. My technique permits the hair to live in its natural state, so it flows effortlessly.

Shape is defined even better when color placement is intentional. The right shade of color with the right placement enhances the shape of your haircut.

I believe in texture and blending of the haircut and color to extend the longevity of both.

With integrity, your haircut and color should always bring out the best of you, and only you would know what that means for you. I am only here to assist you on your journey to defining the beautiful you!!
